The Wallet is the most accessible notebook of the second wave. Calling it a wallet is reductive: it can be a signature interface, home of assets, operating passport, proof archive, authorization remote and contact point between identity and ownership.
The volume separates custodial and non-custodial wallets, user experience and responsibility, financial balance and capacity for action. The wallet of the future will not only contain value: it may contain reputation, attestations, access, permissions, proofs and operating relationships.

La firma è uno degli atti più antichi della fiducia moderna. Firmare significa assumere una posizione. Confermare volontà. Lasciare traccia. Rendere un gesto attribuibile. Nel mondo fisico, la firma porta con sé una scena: carta, penna, contratto, presenza, tempo, talvolta un testimone o un notaio. Anche quando firmiamo qualcosa di semplice, il gesto conserva una certa gravità materiale.
Nel wallet, questa scena può sparire. La firma diventa un pulsante dentro un'interfaccia. Confirm. Sign. Approve. Continue. La parola cambia, la grafica cambia, ma il gesto resta piccolo, rapido, ripetibile. La superficie visiva non sempre comunica la portata dell'atto.
Questa riduzione è una conquista e un rischio. È una conquista perché rende possibile agire senza burocrazia inutile. È un rischio perché trasforma la volontà in automatismo. Se firmare appare come cliccare, l'utente comincia a cliccare dove dovrebbe leggere.
Una firma dovrebbe rispondere a una domanda precisa: che cosa sto autorizzando? Nel wallet questa domanda non è sempre facile. Alcune richieste sono leggibili. Altre mostrano dati tecnici, stringhe, hash, parametri, indirizzi, importi, funzioni. Alcune interfacce traducono bene. Altre traducono poco. Alcune nascondono complessità dietro un messaggio generico. Altre espongono troppa complessità e ottengono lo stesso risultato: l'utente smette di capire.
